iBall Andi 5.5N2 Quadro Phablet Launched in India @ Rs 14,999

With biggies like Apple, Samsung and Nokia taking over the smartphone market, you would think that other brands will step backward. It may be applicable for a few, but not for the iBall, the Indian manufacturer which has been growing really fast. Their Andi 5.5N2 Quadro phablet has been launched to set a trend in the smartphone race. The device offers a few sought-after features like a large touch screen and quad core processor. The official price of the phone is Rs 14,999, but the company’s best buy price is Rs 13,499.

Offering dual SIM functionality, the phablet is a 5.5 inch multi-touch screen wonder. Definitely designed for the price sensitive consumer, the device uses IPS technology with a 1280 x 720p resolution. The 12 MP primary rear snapper on the iBall device has an LED flash and auto focus lens. There’s also cool features like digital zoom, editing features and video recording are also present. On the front panel you can find a 2MP snapper for video conferencing and selfies.

The device offers 4GB internal storage with expandable storage of upto 32GB through an external microSD card. The inbuilt storage should be enough for a few apps, but if you want to keep a lot of media, MicroSD card is the way to go. Multitasking is made easy with the quad core 1.7GHz Cortex A7 processor and 1GB RAM, and the 2500 mAh battery should keep you going for over 24 hours.

The Android Phablet has connectivity options like GPS, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB and 3G. There’s also the useful flip to mute gesture control. Packed with a variety of sensors like proximity, light and gravity, the phablet is priced at an affordable range for the common user.

Another recently introduced device is the iBall Andi 4.5-K6, that is a budget Android smartphone priced at Rs 7.395. The K6 is available online and is a dual-SIM phone as well. The dual core processor smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with support for GSM+GSM. This affordable phone has an awesome sleek design with a decent display as well. Another highlight is the 8MP camera.
