Aircel Debuts Free National Roaming Tariff Plan – One Nation, One Rate

Free National roaming service has been a hot topic from past few months. There has been a lot of news regarding the tariff plans and validity between various telecommunications service providers. But finally Aircel debuts free national roaming tariff plan yesterday, which is a special tariff recharge to put an end to roaming charges. They call it as ‘One Nation, One Rate’ tariff plan, which offer one rate for Voice, SMS and Data in through out India. You can check out the free roaming tariff plan details in the below post.

Aircel Debuts Free National Roaming Tariff Plan:

Talking about this plan, Mr. Anupam Vasudev, chief marketing officer, Aircel, said, “Aircel One Nation One Plan free tariff plan will enable Aircel customers to enjoy one rate for voice, SMS and data services in their respective home circles and even while they are on roaming. We believe that the launch of this product will create a community of Aircel users and will mark the start of an important chapter in India’s telecom growth story.”

This tariff plan is available in important circles of India and varies from one circle to another. East Uttar Pradesh has the lowest tariff plan of Rs 21, whereas North East users has to pay Rs 59 for the same tariff plan. All the circles will have the same benefits and will be charged 1paisa/second in home circle as well as during roaming on Aircel network. Check out the below list for full list of rates.

• Voice: 1 paisa/second in home circle as well as on roaming
• Voice: Incoming calls on roaming will be completely free.
• SMS: Local and STD SMS at Rs 1/SMS through out India.
• Data: Rs 1/MB through out India.
• Tariff: Rs 21 to Rs 59 (may vary according to the circles)
