You can pin your base sounds on the start screen by long pressing each tile which you like to hear before sleep. The total size of this app is around 106MB and can quite long to install with your 3G connection. After installing the application, just go to your apps list and select on the Sleep icon to open it. You should find a similar screen as shown in the below screenshot:

The home screen of Sleep app provides different range of base sounds to select. By clicking one the left side orange arrow, you can drag out a list of six options which add additional effects to your selected base sound.

Say you have selected rain base sound as your primary selection, and now you can add all the 6 other options to give you that amazing effect to your original base sound. This is really stunning, as the app provides complete natural sounds like you’ve never heard before. You can even select a timer to play this base sound for a particular period of time. Usually the timer starts from 5 minutes to 90 minutes. But in Sleep app, you can set the timer to infinite, and play sounds through out the night.
