Sony Xperia Z1s: The New Waterproof SmartPhone

Another awesome new Waterproof smartphone from Sony is here! The cool new Xperia Z1s can be put in 4.5 feet deep water for 30 minutes without any adverse effects. The 21 Mega Pixel camera smartphone is an improvement of Xperia Z which could be submerged in 3 feet water. With a physical button that can take photos underwater, it is said to be one of the best underwater phones. The phone is ideal for active users who love to take pictures and go on tours. Whether in the rain or in the pool, it is an exciting new phone for the adventurous.

Packed with a wide range of camera-related apps, the phone allows you to gather more information by taking a picture of a book or landmark. The photos will be made more interesting by added information in tags. You can also snap 61 shots in just two seconds with the burst shot feature! Then, you can choose the pictures which have the perfect expression or smile. Making a photo movie with these shots can be absolutely amazing. You can also broadcast any event or wedding in real time, by sharing the links on Facebook. The camera sports a Bionz image and G Lens processor.

There is an app available in store which is a partner to Sony’s PlayStation. The app is for players to buy new games with an automatic download feature. People can also watch footage of a friend’s game play through this app. Since the Z1s is an updated version of its predecessor Z1, it looks quite similar. The design of the Sony Xperia Z1S makes the headphone connector waterproof as well, without the need for a elastic cover like the Xperia Z.

The connectivity options of the phone include Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G, Xperia Link and Bluetooth. From January 13, users can place online orders to own the phone. It will be available in stores from January 22nd roughly costing Rs 37,500 ($528). The phone  seems to have the features, power, and design to lure smartphone users  to the Sony brand.

Along with this phone, the Japanese tech giant is also hoping to launch the Xperia Z1 Compact. The prices are not revealed yet, but the phone is said to be a model that can be placed in between the Xperia Z and the Xperia Z1.  With the 4.3 inch HD display, the device is powered with Qualcomm Snadragon 800 quad-core processor. The back panel holds a 20.7 mega pixel camera with LED flash and a 2 megapixel is available in the front. Sony is all set to make a huge comeback into the smartphone industry.
